2008 is hee ... and since I haven't checked in in quite some time, let's run down last year's resolutions, shall we?
So here are my new year's resolutions for 2007:
1. eat fewer than 2000 calories every day
well - I did very well at this up through April - from January to April I lost 50 pounds (I have since gained over 20 of them back)
2. walk the dogs at least 2 days a week
lasted through January ...
3. walk for 30 minutes on the treadmill at least 4 days a week
did well through April
4. drink at least 5 glasses (40 oz) of water each day
did well through April, again
5. send birthday cards to everyone on my list in a timely manner
made it till August with this one!
6. send get well/sympathy/thinking of you cards when appropriate
oops
7. keep in touch with my friends more
I'm trying!
8. check in on mffl at least three days a week
haven't been in months ...
9. post to my blog/journal each night as well as update fitday.com and my body control journal
again - did well on fitday through April, oops on the blogging.
10. develop an afternoon/evening routine and do it each day as well
oops ...
11. have lesson plans ready for the week by Friday afternoon
Again ... oops ...
12. grade papers and enter grades every day
One more oops ...
13. have my homework completed at least 2 nights before class
at least I had it ready in time to turn in ...
Goals:
I hoped to lose 44 pounds by May - I did that!!
I hoped to get my cholesterol down by April - it went donw some, not as much as I wanted, but it was down!
I hope to have a baby by Christmas - well ... we at least started the adoption process!!
I hope to continue to make A's in school - did that
OK - so I actually did much better than I ever have in the past, especially until the end of the school year!! I'll post later today with this year's resolutions :-)
